Summer Lunch starts today! See flyer for locations!

Lunch is free for kids ages 0-18

Lunch will be served May 28-June 28 from 11:00-11:30.

No lunch will be served June 17th and 18th.

On Friday, two meals will be sent home for the weekend.

The menu is attached, and is subject to change without notification.

https://speed.uen.org is up and running and the students can access it anytime from home. Speed Week runs until the end of the month
Subject: Help improve internet service for Utah students

Dear Parents,
This is Internet Speed Week and we need your help!
Our school is participating in a statewide initiative to improve access to reliable high-speed internet for Utah students. Please encourage your student to take the Bonneville Internet Speed Test from home.
1. The link https://speed.uen.org is safe to click on.
2. Click on “Accept” if it asks to use your location.
3. The test takes about 30 seconds and can be taken multiple times.
4. The data collected will not be personally identifiable.
5. The more households that participate, the clearer a picture we’ll have of what areas may have gaps in internet service.
I appreciate your help in making sure that all Utah students have access to the internet.

South Sanpete School District has partnered with parentguidance.org and cookcenter.org to offer wellness resources to parents. Any parent who would like to can scan the QR code on the coaching flyer and register for one on one zoom counseling with a therapist for 30 minutes a week. They can even text a therapist 24/7 with timely questions. They can also attend zoom parent wellness meetings once a month on varied topics. Once they have registered they can watch the zoom meeting at the time it is scheduled, or later at a more convenient time for them.

The summer feeding program will begin today, May 30th, and end on June 30th, from 11:00-11:30 Monday thru Friday. It is free to all children up to the age of 18 years. Parents can pick meals up and take them home. Children have to be in the car with them.
You can pick meals up at the following sites:
Gunnison, Manti, and Ephraim Elementaries, Gunnison, Centerfield, Axtell, Fayette, and Sterling Churches. Mayfield Park and Ephraim sports park.

"We have been notified by Gunnison City that they are closing 2nd East tonight as they anticipate the Sanpitch River flowing over the road by morning. Please plan to use an alternate route to school other than 2nd East. There is a good possibility that this closure could continue for the next few weeks.”
