On Friday, our 6th grade students had the honor of participating in a Flag Retirement Ceremony hosted by our local VFW. This meaningful event provided students with an opportunity to learn about the proper and respectful way to retire American flags that are no longer fit for display.

We are grateful to the veterans and VFW members who shared their time, knowledge, and dedication to our country with our students. Their commitment to preserving the traditions and values represented by our flag helped make this a memorable and educational experience.

Thank you to the VFW for welcoming our students and helping them gain a deeper appreciation for patriotism, service, and respect for our nation’s symbols. 🇺🇸
