As we prepare for another exciting year of Kaneland athletics, the Kaneland Sports Boosters is looking for parents and supporters to get involved for the 2026–2027 school year!

The Sports Boosters help support ALL Kaneland athletic programs through concessions, fundraising, spirit wear, scholarships, team support, and more. Our success depends on the involvement of our families and community.

With several current board members becoming senior parents in the upcoming year, we are especially looking for new volunteers to help continue the strong tradition of support for Kaneland athletics.

We are currently looking for volunteers to help with four important committees:�• Membership�• Concessions�• Marketing�• Fundraising

Whether you can volunteer regularly or help occasionally throughout the year, every bit of involvement makes a difference for our student-athletes and helps strengthen the Kaneland community.

Attention Kaneland Class of 2026 please see the Scholarship opportunity from the Thorgesen family:

It is an honor for our family to present the 2026 Rick Thorgesen Memorial Scholarship to the Kaneland community. We kindly ask that you share this opportunity with all Kaneland senior athletes and their families.

About the Scholarship:
Rick Thorgesen (Class of 1983) was a dedicated four-year, three-sport athlete at Kaneland High School. A lifelong supporter of Kaneland athletics, Rick embodied the spirit of hard work, perseverance, and team loyalty.

Application Deadline:
All scholarship applications must be submitted to the Athletic Department Office (Attn: Stephanie Douglas) by April 30th at 3PM.

Scholarship Presentation:
Recipients will be announced during the Senior Athletic Awards Night at Kaneland High School.

With heartfelt gratitude, we thank our dear friends and family for your generous donations to Rick’s memorial. Your support allows us to honor his legacy by celebrating student athletes, a cause he cherished.
