Curious about hunting? LEARN TO HUNT program on Monday nights April 13th - May 11th is open for registration! This five-part learn to hunt series is designed for adults that are interested in learning about hunting and related outdoor activities. The program will include both archery, firearm safety and activities. Learn the mechanics and safe handling of fi****ms, about hunting gear and equipment including technology, and the ins and outs of DNR hunting regulations, plus get tips on finding good hunting locations. Practice shooting a bow from standing, in a ground blind and in a tree stands, as well as using crossbows. The series will culminate with an evening at a gun range shooting rifles and shotguns. Online Rentals & Reservations Blackout Notice
On Wednesday, February 4, we’re launching a new and improved reservation system and registration system to enhance your online experience with a more visual and user-friendly process. Prior to launching our new system, there will be a transition period when online transactions will be unavailable.

From Friday, January 30–Tuesday, February 3, online and over-the-phone transactions will not be available in our current reservation and registration system.

Park visitors will still be able to purchase, reserve and register for the following in-person:
Rental equipment
Day passes
Drop-in programs
Concessions
Merchandise

Downhill skiing, snowboarding and tubing reservations at Elm Creek Winter Recreation Area and Hyland Hills Ski Area will remain available in the current system through the end of the winter season.
