Independent Fire Company No. 1 of Maple Shade 100% Volunteer Department staffed by professional men and women, in service since 1912. Join Today! US highways Rt. 73 & Rt. 38 pass through the town.

We serve a community of approximately 20,000 residents in an area of 3.2 square miles situated in western Burlington County, New Jersey. The demographics of Maple Shade include residential single-family homes, numerous garden apartments, commercial businesses and light industry. We respond to an average of 650 calls for service in our town and other surrounding communities per year. This number does not include any EMS services.

🌧️ Weather Update – Fireworks Moved to the Rain Date! 🎆

While Mother Nature has other plans for Saturday, the celebration isn't over!

Due to the forecast, Saturday's fireworks have been rescheduled to our official rain date on Sunday, June 28. Join us at Maple Shade High School as we light up the sky at dusk with an incredible fireworks display!

Unfortunately, the Independence Day Parade has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.

We appreciate everyone's understanding as safety remains our top priority. Grab your lawn chairs, bring your family and friends, and come celebrate with us Sunday evening for a spectacular fireworks show!
