We have seen an increase in accidents involving EBIKES and Scooters. These vehicles can carry some speed and are dangerous if not used with care. We strongly encourage anyone using these or another form on non automotive transportation to wear a helmet and proper clothing to protect urself from injury. We also remind drivers to be aware of your surroundings for these or motorcyclists out there. Every one be safe as it's another hot week. As always we are here if you need us

We are actively looking to increase our EMT Staffing. A few of our dedicated EMT's are heading back to College and others have completed their Education and will be moving their Healthcare Careers to the next level. As always we welcome those in EMT School looking Volunteer their time and gain valuable Experience in Emergency Medical Services. Another SCAMMER has taken the copyrighted logo from The Maple Shade First Aid Squad and created a "ALUMNI" T-Shirt. We are not selling those or did we authorize the use of our Logo. That Logo holds a lot of tradition and service to the residents of Maple Shade. We are very aware of where and when it is being used. The only place you may see a T-Shirt for sale is directly from us. Please do not buy from these companies and they are scammers.

PLEASE STAY HYDRATED DURING THE HEAT. Limit your time outside and check on your medically compromised friends and family. Make sure your pets are staying hydrated and protected also. 211 has cooling center lists if you need to locate one

The HEAT is upon us once again. Please stay hydrated, check on neighbors and family members, especially those with medical conditions and are Senior. Remember to keep an eye on your Pets as they cans also suffer from Heat related issues. The ground is hot and can burn there Paws. If you have to do out limit time outside and carry water. As always we are staffed and ready if you need us, but hopefully you will not.
