See nature through a new lens! Join us for an introduction to nature photography and learn how to capture the beauty of the outdoors using a camera. Participants will explore the basics of photography.

Cameras are provided; no photography experience or equipment is necessary. Participants are also welcome to bring their own. Various times and dates available through our catalog.

🚶 Stay on designated trails — especially in prairie areas!
🍁 Leave nature as you find it — please don't pick, trample, or remove flowers, grasses, or plants.
🐿️ Respect wildlife — keep a safe distance and leave natural habitats undisturbed.
🤝 Share the path — avoid blocking trails so staff and other visitors can pass safely.

Tamarack Nature Center is a wonderful spot for photographers who love natural beauty and quiet outdoor scenes. From wooded paths to open views and seasonal details, there's plenty here to inspire creative work and we're glad to have photo groups enjoy the space too.
