HOW IT WORKS for KIDS:

📗 Sign up on BEANSTACK for the 2026 KIDS Summer Reading Challenge

📘 Log the TIME you spend reading and writing to earn prizes, books, comics, and more! Log your time in BEANSTACK or on a PAPER LOG

📙 Come to the library to claim your weekly prizes starting Monday June 29th!

For every hour kids read or write they earn a sticker to solve our Pixel Puzzle Poster. Kids can earn an unlimited number of Pixel Puzzle stickers if they keep reading and writing.

For every 3 hours that kids read or write, they can spin our prize wheel for a special prize. Come to the library to see what those prizes are!

At the end of the summer, the top readers and writers will win a Grand Prize, which will include a $25 gift card from a Maplewood business of your choice, Elephant & Piggie bookends, or a Bluetooth speaker 🥳 Earn extra credit towards the Grand Prize by writing book reviews! The more time kids spend reading and writing, the greater their chance to win a Grand Prize! 🦕
