Clifton Heights Improvement Association Fun in the 'hood... events, games, celebrations, rocky beach and the green.

We are a friendly bunch of neighbors that live in and around Clifton Heights in Marblehead. The Association dates back to the 1800s where people would gather to gamble, drink, wear outlandish costumes, and tell inappropriate jokes. We are all pleased that our behavior has matured somewhat over the years and are now glad to include power tools and maritime prowess to the litany of skills. Our commu

nity hosts a range of mostly fun events throughout the year, these include the 4th July Parade & games, Lobster Bake, Holiday Parties, Progressive Dinners, Dancing on the Green, BBQs on the beach, and Raft assembly breakfasts. Membership is not exclusive - we welcome all neighbors and urge everyone to participate and volunteer to help improve our little community. And a huge thank you to all that have made Clifton Heights one of the best places to live.

It’s really great how we’ve been able to come together as a community year after year to make this happen and make our waterfront as accessible as possible. I would like to give a special shout out to Rob Ferro, and his intrepid rowing of our dinghy, as we realized that the surf became a bit unmanageable after we had already rowed out to check the mooring chain." ~ Brian Plunkett
