⚠️We’ve been made aware of a scam using the name of the Rondout Valley Food Pantry. ✅ If you receive a suspicious message, post, call, or email claiming to be from the food pantry:
• Do not respond
• Do not provide payment information
• Report the scam immediately

Please share immediately!

There is a scam using the Rondout Valley Food Pantry name.

We are not calling asking for donations or calling about expanding services that require you to provide your credit card information or social security number.

The proper channels for donations online are through our website, Venmo, PayPal and Square accounts. We do not solicit donations over the phone.

Social Security numbers are not required to be a guest and personal information is only needed at sign up and once a year after that, or if there is a change in information.

If anyone has received a call, or does receive a call, from someone claiming to be from the RVFP, asking for this information, please contact the NYS Troopers at 845-626-2800 to file a report and contact us at 845-687-4013.

The City of Kingston, Climate Smart Kingston and GreenSheen Paint for an eco-friendly event where you can safely dispose of your leftover paint for free! This event that is open to any New York State resident – participants do not have to reside in the City of Kingston.
