ALS of Utica is reaching out to our community for help.

We have a local Mohawk Valley patient in need of a motorized wheelchair while their personal wheelchair is undergoing repairs. We are hoping to find someone who may have a motorized wheelchair they are not currently using and would be willing to lend for a few weeks.

If you have one available, or know of an organization, business, or individual who may be able to help, please reach out!

ALS of Utica offers an Estate Planning Grant for local registered ALS families through partnerships with local Elder Law Attorneys. After an ALS diagnosis, it’s critical to begin planning early. Many families are unaware that Medicare and standard insurance often do not cover long-term home care needs. Through this program, families may receive assistance with services such as wills, health care proxy, power of attorney, Medicaid planning and asset protection.

ALS of Utica pays approved attorneys directly on behalf of eligible families to help ease the financial burden during an already difficult time.
