🔥🔥🔥There will be elevated fire danger once again today. North winds gusting to 25 to 35 MPH combined with abundantly dry grasses, brush, and fields means that there is a n increased threat for any fire that starts to quickly spread.

Thanks to Costomized Firefighter Training for coming down on October 4th to help up train on what to watch for in the event of a Flashover. Also training on interior attack.

Thanks to Marengo Farm & Home for their donation of Hay bales, and Lowe’s from Coralville for their donation of plywood. With these donated items it helps us make it possible to similar more realistic conditions for training.

Thanks for Iowa County EMS for coming down and be on standby in the event of firefighter being over heated or other issues.

Also like to Thank Retired Firefighter Mike McBride for coming to help out with changing out tanks and making sure that we are hydrated.

Thanks to Williamsburg Fire Department for coming over to participate in the Training.
