As our nation prepares to celebrate the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence in 2026, our Bullpups had the opportunity to leave their mark on a special community project.

Students, led by MK8 art teacher, Tiffany Pippin, helped transform campus fire hydrants into works of art that reflect pride in our country, our community, and our school. Through creativity, teamwork, and service, they learned that even small contributions can help tell the story of who we are.

Thank you to everyone who contributed to this project! We are proud of the way our Bullpups continue to honor the past while helping shape the future!

Today we had the privilege of recognizing our retirees for their years of dedicated service to students, families, and our school community. While not all of our retirees were able to attend today’s celebration, we are grateful for each of them and the lasting impact they have made on countless lives!

We fired up the grill and ordered up pizza to celebrate some BIG wins at Marianna K8!

Students in grades 3–7 who showed learning gains or scored a Level 3 or higher on the Florida FAST assessment earned a celebratory cookout (grades 3-6) and earned pizza (grade 7) —and we could not be more proud of their hard work!

This recognition isn’t just about a score. It’s about growth, perseverance, and students rising to the challenge. 📈

Thank you to our teachers and families who support our students every step of the way. And to our Bullpups—this is what dedication looks like. We see you, and we’re celebrating you!

MK-8 Family,

There will be a Kindergarten Readiness Camp at MK-8 for all first-time incoming kindergarten students. The camp runs Monday through Thursday, from 8:30-1:30, beginning July 13th. The purpose of this camp is to familiarize new students with our campus, schedules, and expectations. It is a great way for kids to learn the school and feel confident about navigating it before showing up cold on the first day. Congratulations to our Marianna K8 track and field team members that competed at the FLYRA (Florida Youth Running Association) Middle School State Track and Field Championship this past weekend in Bradenton, Florida. Team coaches are D’Leisha Ephraim and Brittany Smith.

Jade Pope finished 11th in the state for Girls Shot Put.
Boys 4x100m Relay Team — Jamiere Brown, Juelz Maldonado, Kaegan Truitt, Isaiah Young, and alternate Ja’Kyus Johnson — finished 10th overall in the state.
Jamiere Brown also earned a 9th place finish in Boys Long Jump.
Bringing home a state medal with an outstanding 4th place finish in Boys Shot Put was Kaegan Truitt!

We are incredibly proud of these athletes for their hard work, dedication, and accomplishments this season. Congratulations on an amazing performance at the state level!
