Education Starts Local takes on an extra-special meaning when giving back becomes a family moment. ❤️📚

We were proud to present an Education Starts Local donation to Mrs. Carnley of Marianna K-8 School, pictured here with her mom, Beth Beasley, Sales Consultant at Marianna Chevrolet GMC.

This presentation was an especially sweet moment for Beth, as Mrs. Carnley is her daughter and is in her first year as an educator! 🥹❤️ Even though Mrs. Carnley was selected by one of our customers who worked with another member of our sales team, it turned into a wonderful surprise for Beth to be the one presenting the donation to her daughter.

That’s what we love about Education Starts Local — it has a way of creating meaningful moments while supporting the educators and schools that matter most to our community.

Congratulations, Mrs. Carnley, on your first year of teaching, and thank you for choosing to make a difference for your students! 🍎🏫

MK8 Cross County team competed at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on Saturday, August 29th, in Thomasville, GA. Lennox Hodge won first place in the 2-mile race with approximately 200 competitors in the event. Way to go, Lennox!

Entry is $5
Live DJ
Food/drink options from $2-$5
Relaxed dress code:
Spaghetti straps are OK
NO saggy pants, cutout sections on dresses, strapless
dresses, or overly revealing/tight/short clothing
NO backpacks, please, or leave them at the door
ONLY Marianna K-8 students allowed to attend
Students with referrals resulting in ISS or OSS will not be
allowed to attend
Students will not be released early - everyone will dismiss at
8:00 pm
Dismissal instructions will be posted closer to the event date

Congratulations to the MK8 A-Team Volleyball players and coaches on their win over Bethlehem on Tuesday, August 18, at the MHS gymnasium!

Our Bullpups played with determination, teamwork, and heart. We are so proud of you—way to rise together and lead together! 🐾
