Jackson County Let's Get Out and Vote!

More than six decades after the passage of the Voting Rights Act, the fight to protect the freedom to vote continues.

On August 6, 1965, the Voting Rights Act transformed American democracy by dismantling barriers that denied Black Americans the fundamental right to vote.

The Jackson County NAACP Branch #5104-B reminds all voters to make your voices heard by casting your ballot during this primary election. Early voting is underway and we want to encourage you to go vote early. Please check our local Supervisor of Elections office for polling locations and important instructions. We want to emphasize that voting is a crucial right and responsibility.

If you or someone you know is not registered to vote. We encourage you to reach out to our local Supervisor of Elections office to make sure you are able to exercise your right as an American. The website is: https://votejacksonfl.gov

2026 Primary Early Voting Dates: Saturday, August 8, 2026, through Saturday, August 15, 2026 (please see designated times on the local Supervisor of Elections page)

You must have the approved identification to vote. The local Supervisor of Elections page is very informative. Make voting a family and community event.
