The Marietta Daily Journal took a look at fundraising in our race for House District 45.⁠

Yes, we’re running against a 30-year incumbent with a significant financial head start and longstanding relationships with PACs and institutional donors.⁠
⁠
But here’s the number I’m especially proud of: 76.⁠
⁠
That’s how many individual donors contributed to our campaign during the most recent reporting period, compared with just 12 to my opponent’s campaign.⁠
⁠
We started essentially from scratch. And in just a few months, we’ve built a grassroots campaign that raised nearly $48,000 during the most recent reporting period.⁠

To me, how we build this campaign matters.⁠
⁠
I want to run the kind of campaign that reflects the kind of representative I’ll be: accountable to the people and families of East Cobb.⁠

Democracy works best when voters choose their representatives, every eligible voter can make their voice heard, and elected officials remain accountable to the people they serve.

Those principles shouldn’t belong to one political party. They belong to all of us.

Here in East Cobb, I don’t expect us to agree on every issue. We’re a community with different experiences and perspectives, and there is value in hearing from people who see things differently. I'm committed to respecting your voice, listening to your perspective, and remembering that elected officials are accountable to the people they serve.

As the daughter of an Army Ranger and mother of young children, I believe respecting responsible gun ownership and protecting our families go hand in hand.

I’m proud to be recognized as a 2026 Moms Demand Action Gun Sense Candidate. This distinction reflects my commitment to governing with gun safety in mind and supporting practical steps to prevent gun violence and keep our schools, neighborhoods, and families safe.

Gun safety is a shared responsibility. I’m committed to working across differences on solutions that respect the rights of law-abiding gun owners and save lives.

Voting should be simple: Eligible voters should be able to cast their ballots and have confidence that their votes will count.

Fair Fight has been doing this work across Georgia, helping ensure Georgians can participate in our elections and make their voices heard.

I’m grateful for their leadership, support, and partnership in this race.

There’s so much at stake this November. I’m ready to keep doing the work to earn the trust of our community and represent House District 45 at the Capitol. 🍑

Such a wonderful evening celebrating Georgia’s Hispanic business community and the entrepreneurs and leaders helping our state thrive.

Given my own Puerto Rican roots, it was especially meaningful to celebrate the contributions, leadership, and growing influence of Hispanic communities across Georgia.

Thank you to the Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce for bringing so many people together for such a special evening. 💜

This is well worth the read.

Our public schools belong to our communities, and protecting them is a responsibility shared across every level of leadership. The standards we expect from our public institutions should apply consistently, regardless of who holds power.

Public trust depends on it.
