Thanks to a great recommendation, we are going to start announcing milestone events happening in the Aviation Brigade ahead of time. This past drill weekend, the 1-171st GSAB bid farewell to CPT Sergie Prokopov as he transitions from his role as Battalion S1 to his next assignment as an Officer Candidate School instructor.

Since October 2024, CPT Prokopov has served the battalion with professionalism, dedication, and unwavering support to Soldiers across the formation. His hard work and commitment have made a lasting impact on the unit, and we are grateful for all he has contributed during his time with the 1-171st GSAB.

We wish CPT Prokopov continued success in his new role and know he will positively influence the next generation of Army leaders.

Thank you for all your outstanding work, CPT Prokopov!
