Marietta Municipal Court will be open for prisoner arraignments tomorrow at 8 am. If you are scheduled for an arraignment at 9 am, you can call the Court (740-373-4474) to see if your case is eligible to be rescheduled. Although most cases can be rescheduled, some cannot due to legal timing requirements. If you have a 10 am pretrial, please call your attorney to see if you need to attend.

New Year New You Sealing Clinic is this Tuesday, January 13.

If you have turned your life around and need to seal your record to get better housing or employment, this may be a great opportunity for you!

Marietta Municipal Court, in conjunction with Legal Aid of Southeast and Central Ohio - LASCO , is offering a one-time record sealing and expungement assistance event, with all filing costs waived between 12:30pm and 3:30pm on January 13. Free attorneys and volunteers will be available to assist you in filing out any required paperwork and attend the sealing hearing with you.

It's a proud day for Marietta Municipal Court Probation. The Probation team was recognized with a second place finish, out of more than 200 programs statewide, from the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction's Clifford Skeen Award.

Since 1993, this award has been handed out to probation programs that display excellence in community corrections. Great work!

Due to a technical failure, an entire network switch needs replaced at the Courthouse. As a result, the Court will be unable to assist the public and will be closed for repairs on Friday, August 22. We will be open as usual Monday, August 25 at 8:00 am.

If you need to conduct any business with the Court this week, please plan accordingly.
