🔥 Happy International Firefighters’ Day! 🚒
Today, May 4th, we proudly recognize and honor the brave men and women who dedicate their lives to protecting our communities.

International Firefighters’ Day was established to remember firefighters who have lost their lives in the line of duty and to show appreciation for those who continue to serve with courage, commitment, and compassion every single day.

From responding to structure fires and medical emergencies, to educating the public on fire prevention and safety—our firefighters do it all. Their job doesn’t stop when the call ends; they train, prepare, and stand ready 24/7 for whatever comes next.

❤️ On behalf of the Slater-Marietta Fire Department Auxiliary, we want to say THANK YOU to our firefighters—past and present—for your sacrifice, strength, and selfless service. We are incredibly proud to support you and your mission.
