Marietta City Schools (MCS) serve some 8,800 students at eight elementary choice schools—one of which is a Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Magnet—one middle school, one sixth-grade school, and one high school. Our Blue Devils showed the world what it means to .

Last night in England, Marietta Football took the field against the NFL Academy for a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity no other team in Georgia has had. All week, we watched them wake up early, practice, study, call home, and work hard.

Win or lose, these Blue Devils made history together. They represented Marietta with pride, grew stronger through the experience, and proved this trip was about so much more than football.

Four thousand two hundred miles away, our Blue Devils took the field in England. Right here at home, Marietta packed Melt Yard to watch it together — drumline, cheerleaders, face paint, and a whole lot of blue.

Thank you to Steve "Thunder" Tumlin and Marietta Melt Yard for feeding this town and giving us a place to cheer them on!
