On Tuesday, September 8, we will celebrate two Appalachian Community Grant Program projects that reflect what investment in Appalachian Ohio can make possible.

In Marietta Ohio, improvements at Levee Park will help create an enhanced public space along the riverfront, one that welcomes residents and visitors alike.

Later that day, in the Village of Chauncey, we will recognize downtown revitalization efforts that support a stronger, more vibrant village center and build momentum for the community's future.

Join us for one (or both) ribbon-cutting celebrations!

What a great day at the Buckeye Hills Regional Council Development Summit in beautiful Senecaville, Ohio!

Thank you to everyone who joined us this week for a day of learning, collaboration, and conversation about the future of southeastern Ohio.

Attendees explored a variety of topics, including our CEDS, AMLER opportunities, the impact of data centers, and even stepped into the role of grant reviewers during an interactive funding exercise.

We were also honored to welcome GOA Director John Carey and Ohio River Commission Executive Director Taylor Abbott, who shared their perspectives on the opportunities ahead for our region.

A huge thank you to our speakers, sponsors, attendees, and the BHRC staff who worked behind the scenes to make the event such a success. Your enthusiasm, ideas, and commitment to our communities made the day one to remember.

Together, we're building stronger communities and a brighter future for the Buckeye Hills region. We can't wait to see you at next year's summit!
