Aloha to Aging, Inc Mission Objectives
1. To provide a nurturing and socially stimulating environment for adults 55 and older with mild to moderate impairment.

Nonprofit providing: Adult Day Respite for 50+, Caregiver Education/Support for Dementia & Parkinson’s and those serving or dealing with physical/cognitive challenges. Includes fun and fellowship with peers, exercise designed for older adults, stimulating and creative activities, multigenerational programming and also a morning snack and noon meal.

2. To provide respite (an interval of rest or relief) for the caregivers. It supports the efforts of the family to keep a loved one in the home environment, thus contributing to the quality of life for the participants and their families. The availability of day respite can provide an alternative to inappropriate or premature placement outside of the home.

3. To offer caregiver support group opportunities. The purpose of the support group is to provide a safe environment to share emotions and experiences, give and receive emotional support, seek and give advice, and exchange practical information with others who are caring for an aging loved one.

4. To involve and train volunteers to become an integral and important part of the program. Training courses are identified, implemented, and offered periodically during the year.

Aloha to Aging needs volunteers for our annual G.A.L.A.—Games And Laughter Aloha-Style! Help with registration, checkout, or photography while supporting programs that bring care, education, and connection to older adults and family caregivers.

Friday, November 13 4:30–9:30 PM East Cobb, Marietta

Bring your tech skills, friendly smile, or eye for photography and help make this a wonderful evening!

We had the privilege of partnering with The Sleigh Society to offer our " A Day in the Life" aging simulation workshop as part of their compassionate performer Training! Santa, Mrs. Claus, elves and helpers were all in attendance!🧑‍🎄🤶

Such a great time at our 1st Battle of the Bands! A BIG Mahalo to our judges Lisa Weiland, John Hollis and Jason LaMarca! They had a tough job with 3 talented bands performing! Congratulations to Sawgrass Blues Band - Roswell GA who took home the Judges Choice Award and Saints & Sinners for winning the People's Choice Award. The Not for Prophets did a great job as well and took home bronze medals! Amazing talent and we so appreciate you all sharing your time and musical abilities to support Aloha to Aging, Inc!
We are grateful to everyone who came out to support us! Whether we are painting with balloons, building strength with light weights, or singing our favorite tunes, every session is designed to inspire you and tap into your creative side.
