Washington County has always been the kind of place where neighbors show up for each other. This November, we have a chance to keep showing up.

The Behavioral Health Levy is on the ballot, and here is the important part: it is a renewal, not a new tax. A yes vote continues the local funding that supports mental health and substance use services for our friends, neighbors, and families, without raising taxes.

Behind every service this levy supports is a person. A mother. A son. A friend. Someone in our community who needed help and found it close to home.

**Mental Health & Recovery Awareness — Walk With Us! 💚**

Mark your calendars! **NAMI Southeast Ohio**, together with the **Washington County Behavioral Health Board, The Right Path for Washington County, The House of Hope, and the Su***de Awareness Alliance**, will be walking in the **Washington County Fair Parade on Saturday, September 5!**

🎉 **It’s our first year, and we want YOU to walk with us!**

Whether you have personally experienced mental health challenges, know and support someone who lives with mental illness, are in recovery, support prevention, or simply believe in the importance of mental health and wellness, there is a place for you with us.**

Come walk alongside your community, show your support, and help us spread the message that **mental health matters, recovery is possible, and no one has to walk alone.** 💚

📍 **Lineup:** Ohio Street by the Ohio River
⏰ **Lineup time:** 9:15 a.m.
🎺 **Parade begins:** 10:00 a.m.
📍 **Route:** Down Front Street to the Washington County Fairgrounds
🏁 **Expected arrival:** Approximately 11:00–11:15 a.m.

**A few things to know before you go:**

• **No sign-up needed!** Just show up and join us.
• Break out your **recovery gear, prevention attire, awareness shirts, hats, jerseys, or anything that shows your support!**
• Wear comfortable shoes—you’ll be walking approximately two miles.
• Prefer to ride? **Hop on the feelings float!**
• The parade ends at the fairgrounds, so plan ahead for transportation back downtown. You can stick around and enjoy the fair, drop a car off at the fairgrounds beforehand, or make arrangements to get back.

There’s nothing quite like walking through the heart of **Marietta, surrounded by neighbors, friends, families, and people who believe in supporting one another.**
