Tim D. Lee Senior Services is still looking for vendors to be at our Fall Arts Market scheduled for to Saturday, November 14th 10:00 am – 4:00 pm and Sunday, November 15th 9:00 am – 2:00 pm. The Fall Arts Market will be an indoor market featuring local artists that produce handmade goods, fine art, holiday gifts, and so much more! Vendor spaces are $50 per table. You must be able to commit to both days to be accepted.

West Cobb Senior Center kicked off our Golden Threads discussion series with “The Story Behind the Stuff” on National Senior Citizens Day, and what a memorable day it was!

From a secret ring from an old boyfriend to a caving helmet that saw unbelievable adventures, and everything in between, participants brought the things they’ve held onto and, more importantly, the stories behind them. Thank you to everyone who shared a little piece of their history with us. Thank you to Compassus for sponsoring this event!

We're just a month away from another exciting Senior Day at the North Georgia Fair! Join us on Friday, September 25 for a FREE morning of fun and excitement for all adults aged 55 and up!

👉 Breakfast from 8-9 am (while supplies last)
👉 Bingo from 9 - 11 am
👉 Keith King BMX show at 11:00 am
👉 Off Axis Stunt Show at 11:30 am
👉 Ready Go Dog Show at Noon

It's hot out there, and we want to make sure Cobb seniors are staying cool! High temperatures can cause heat-related illnesses, which can be dangerous for older adults. Thanks to a donation from Cobb County Emergency Management Agency, Cobb CARES and The Home Depot, we are providing free box fans to seniors in need. To make an appointment, please call 770-528-5356. Appointments will be held Aug. 18 - 31, while supplies last.
