Have you been thinking of honoring a Veteran by buying them a brick in the Veterans Walk of Honor at Armory Square ? Our installation ceremony will take place on Memorial Day Saturday, May 23, 2026 at 12 noon.

Or....are you interested in having a brick with your name, your family's name, your business, your club, or even a gift for a friend placed in the Community Walk in front of the Armory ?

Deadline for ordering bricks is April 15 for the May 23rd installation ceremony. The application will list what supplemental information you will need for the Veterans Walk of Honor.

Applications are available at the CVB office in the Armory, by printing from here, or call or text me at 740-706-1770 and I will send you one by text, email, or USPS. Or feel free to call with any questions you might have.

Engraved bricks are $75. Each brick can have 3 lines of 21 characters, even though the form shows 18. Just add if you need to.

Next installation is Memorial Day Saturday- May 23, 2026. These make meaningful gifts to Veterans. Christmas is around the corner and Mothers Day and Father’s Day is close to the installation date.

It was a beautiful sunny Veterans Day Saturday this year at the Veterans Walk of Honor. Many Veterans and families added their names to this sacred space which holds honor and appreciation to all those men and women who served to keep America safe. Pictured below - Bryan Reeder and family. His children bought his brick for him.

Armory Square Community Walkway

Michael Veraldo and Keleigh Veraldo Zucchero were visiting their mother Linda Baker Veraldo during our installation of Veterans bricks in the Walk of Honor on November 8, 2025. It was a perfect time to install their parent’s brick in the community walkway in front of Armory Square. The Veraldo’s have given a lifetime of loyalty to their community.

This makes a wonderful gift to anyone in your life you would like to honor or memorialize in the center of our beautiful city. Think of family members, teachers, favorite coach, grandkids, etc.

Armory Square Inc. (a 501c3 nonprofit) at the Armory, 241 Front St. in Marietta, OH is
pleased to announce the biannual Veteran’s Walk of Honor Brick Placement Ceremony will be held on Saturday, May 24th at 12 noon. In addition to the etched brick placement honoring veterans the ceremony will include remarks from Darren Shearlock, Executive Director of Washington County Veterans Services Commission, and the Armory Square committee will share details of a major enhancement for the walk of honor.
With the collaboration of Marietta-based media production company, Horizon Heights Productions, and Armory Square Inc., the Walk of Honor will soon feature an interactive website that allows families and the public to locate their dedicated brick by searching for the veteran’s name. The website will instantly locate the quadrant along the walkway in which the brick resides. With more than 5,000 engraved bricks on the grounds, digital tools and AI now makes it possible for families, friends, and visitors to easily find and pay tribute to loved ones who have served.

Over the past several months, the Horizon Heights Production team has worked to bring this major enhancement to be more accessible and meaningful for our community. Mapping thousands of names spread across hundreds of square feet was accomplished through drone imaging, high-resolution mapping, and custom-built AI tools that catalog and organized each veteran’s name by location.

The public is invited to join the Armory Square committee and Horizon Heights Productions at the brick installation ceremony on May 24, 2025, at noon at the Veterans Walk of Honor in front of the Marietta Armory. More details will be unveiled for the official launch of the website in the coming weeks.
