We are seeking donations of water and Gatorade to replenish our supply that we use on fires and training. Donations can be dropped off at the lobby of Love County Sheriff’s Office.

🔥🔥 LARGE FIRE 🔥🔥

Firefighters, law enforcement, and emergency personnel are currently on scene of a large structure fire that has turned into a grassfire.

The fire is currently contained to the pictured area and is slowly moving north to the empty pasture.

There has been an all page for tankers to the area and out of county fire departments have also been requested for more water and tankers.

There is currently not any structures in jeopardy that aren’t already on fire, and there is no threat to life at this point either.

Please stay clear of the area as there are multiple apparatuses from multiple agencies and counties that need to be able to move freely without obstruction.

4 years ago today we said farewell to our Sheriff Marty Grisham as we laid him to rest.

There is no telling where our Office would be right now if he was still around but I’m confident in saying it would be thriving and always getting better.

We are thankful for all of the time and work Sheriff Grisham put into rebranding this Office and building it back up to respectable. We work hard everyday to continue that tradition in his absence and we hope that he is looking down and is proud of where our Office is at and where we plan to be in the future.

There will never be another like Sheriff Grisham and we are thankful for all of the time we got with him after his retirement from the Troop.

A lot of people don’t consider the time spent away from family to work in this profession and all of the experiences we miss because of the job. We are thankful to Sheriff Grisham’s family for allowing us to have the time he spent with us away from them.

We know he is patrolling the streets of heaven. RIP Sheriff Grisham and we will see you again one day. 🤠

I know it’s not Love County, but a fellow Sheriff was targeted at his home, a place where we are supposed to feel safe and a place where we go to get a way from all of the bad stuff we deal with everyday.

The world is a small place and even the smallest detail or piece of information could help so please share in case anyone may know something.
