Over the past two weeks, have you noticed the Marietta Art in the Park light pole banners around the Marietta Square? They’re truly the icing on the cake for an incredible weekend celebrating art.

Thank you to the City of Marietta Traffic Division for coming in early and installing these beautiful banners. We appreciate you!

Art in the Park, Saturday, September 5 - Monday, September, 7, 10AM - 5PM each day.

Bigfoot LOVES the Elizabeth Porter Park Sprayground just as much as everyone else!

Starting next week, EP Sprayground will be open weekends only — Fridays through Sundays, 10 AM to 8 PM.

Please plan ahead before heading to the Square — road closures begin at 4:30 PM, and ALL main streets around the Square (see photo #7) will be closed for festival setup by 9:00 PM.

Parking Options
Paid Parking (Cobb County Government Decks – access via Waddell St.):
• Cobb–Waddell Parking Deck
• Lawrence Street Parking Deck

Free Parking (City of Marietta):
• Marietta City Hall – 205 Lawrence St.
• Community Development – 268 Lawrence St.
• Housing Authority – 95 Cole St.

Want to skip the traffic?
Ride in on the Mountain to River Trail and park your bike at:
• Mill Street Plaza – 41 Mill St.
• Church Street Park – just off the M2R Trail

There’s been a Bigfoot sighting! Folklore says Bigfoot will be making stops around the Marietta Square over the next two weeks in preparation for Coffee, Campfires and Cryptids, on Friday, September 18.

Location Hint … if you’ve seen our parking post from this past Friday, this Bigfoot dropping is near one of the locations you can park your bike.

Make sure to comment with a photo of you and the your BigFoot findings!
