Senior Spotlight: Mae Fackler and Suus Kuijpers!

Mae has been in choir for 5 years - she just recently played Rudolpho in Mariner Drama’s production of Matilda! Although Mae officially sings Soprano in choir, she enjoys moving to different vocal parts and will sometimes sing alto or tenor! After graduation, Mae will be attending EMU for Music Education and a minor in Zoology.

Suus is an exchange student from the Netherlands. She decided to join choir for our second semester because she loves singing and says she has really enjoyed it! She also played Miss Honey in Matilda. Once she graduates, she would like to go into a creative career. Fun fact: Mae is the one who convinced Suus to join choir! 😁

We will miss these two in our soprano section. Only 2 days until our concert!

Senior Spotlight: Bryan Satterly and Aiden Shovan!

Bryan has sung in Marine City Choirs for his entire middle school and high school career, 6 years total. He just recently played the sneaky car-salesman Mr. Wormwood in Mariner Drama’s production of Matilda. After graduation, Bryan would like to study Confectionery art and become a pastry chef.

Aiden has also never missed a year in Marine City Choirs, singing with us for 6 years. That makes for 24 concerts, plus additional performances! He will be going to culinary school after graduation.

We will miss these two seniors in our Baritone section. Come see them one last time in our Spring Concert this Friday!

Senior Spotlight - Anna Fox!

Anna has been singing in Marine City Choirs for 5 years. She lends her lovely voice to Concert Choir and Chamber Singers, our after-school advanced ensemble. During her time at Marine City, she also played in multiple band ensembles and acted in every musical production with Mariner Drama. After graduation, she will be attending Wayne State University for Musical Theatre.

Help us give our seniors a wonderful send-off at our Spring Concert this Friday! 😊
