INTERVIEW: Marinette teachers study Spanish

Did you know: Marinette School District is partnering with University of Wisconsin-Green Bay's Marinette campus to offer district staff and educators an opportunity to engage in a Spanish For Educators course this summer! The district's English Language Consultant, Kayla Furton, shares that the level of staff participation demonstrates a high level of respect and value for multilingualism and student's first language.

Check out the full interview on WBAY's website: https://www.wbay.com/2021/06/07/interview-marinette-teachers-study-spanish/

This language program goes beyond uno and dos to help educators communicate with Spanish-speaking families in their community and classrooms.
