We're adopting one Marinette (County)/Menominee-area teacher this August, and we need your help!

Every year, teachers spend their own money to create welcoming classrooms and make sure their students have everything they need to succeed. This month, Great Blue Dental wants to give one deserving local teacher a helping hand by purchasing up to $200 worth of classroom supplies from their wishlist.

Here's how to nominate a teacher:
📚 Comment with the teacher's name and tell us why they deserve to win.
💙 Tag the teacher so they know someone is cheering them on.
📲 Share this post so even more amazing teachers in our community have a chance to be nominated.

From the American Red Cross:
We are in an Emergency Blood Shortage and need all blood types! The shortage comes during the height of trauma season, when hospitals frequently see increased demand for blood due to serious injuries and other medical emergencies. Unlike other medical treatments, blood cannot be stockpiled. It must be constantly replenished because it is only viable for transfusion for a few weeks and in some cases, as with platelets, only a few days.

🎉 The Spirit of '76 is still going strong! 🎉

We had the privilege of welcoming the Marinette High School Class of 1976 back to school to celebrate their 50th class reunion last weekend. 🙌🤗 They were the first class to go through the new Marinette High School all four years.

What an awesome group of classmates and spouses that gathered together to get a glimpse of their old high school turf! 🥳 They discovered a mix of updated changes with the latest technology along with some areas that have not been touched and still proudly display the 70s color palette of green, yellow, and orange. ✨

It was fun to hear them share their high school memories, experiences, and stories of what it was like being 50 years ago. ⭐️ They were extremely appreciative of the tour that was supposed to be an hour and became two because they were having so much fun!

🙏 Special thanks to Deanna (Hawkins) Nast for setting this up and to Justine Braatz for being a spectacular tour guide!!

Here's to 50 years of connection, camaraderie, and Marine Pride. 🤩 Thank you for celebrating this special milestone with us. Once a Marine, always a Marine! 💜⚓️🤍

Marinette Middle School families, mark your calendar for these exciting upcoming back-to-school events! 🍎✏️🎒

👋 We look forward to seeing you real soon – August 26 and 27, we have open houses and a Fall Kick Off Cookout! 🙌🎉

💥 August 26 is the 5TH GRADE ONLY OPEN HOUSE from 5:00 to 6:00 pm in the gym at the middle school. Our 5th grade teachers can't wait to assist students in navigating the school, reading schedules, and help them feel the most prepared to start 5th grade in a new building!

💥 August 27 is the 6TH-8TH GRADE OPEN HOUSE from 4:00 to 6:00 pm with an open format. Families can stop in the lobby to pick up their student folders and meet their teachers.
From 4:00 to 7:00 pm, ALL MMS FAMILIES are welcome to join us for a FALL KICK OFF COOKOUT, full of FREE food, games, and fun!
