Volunteer Center -Marinette, WI The mission of the Volunteer Center is to build the capacity of our community through the connection of people and resources with community needs.

The Volunteer Center of Marinette County, Inc. houses a number of programs including, but limited to:

--SeniorCorps and R.S.V.P. Programs for those of 55 years of age and older
--The Pro Bono Program and Business Volunteer Council for business volunteerism, corporate relations, professional development, and student involvement
--The H.E.L.P. Program and one-on-one mentoring programs for community

-service volunteers that provide services and support, and resources and referrals for those facing challenges in the reintegration process

Hi everyone, it has come to my attention that people cannot see who is posting from the Volunteer Center. FYI, this is Kevan Boeder.
To keep you in the loop, my intention is to have a web presence and making volunteer connections by the end of this year! Mid January is my goal for rolling out our new platform and partnership with the Tri-City Area United Way.

The Volunteer Center and its Retired & Senior Volunteer Program will be organizing an **alternate date** for this year's CHAIN Reaction Day being held October 17th for those that cannot participate on the 17th. If you or anyone you know is interested in doing some light landscaping, raking, cleaning windows, etc. for a local retirement community in Marinette, please message the VC here or call (715) 291-9482. Enterprising NONPROFITS is an event designed specifically for the needs of nonprofit board members, community involvement coordinators, executive directors and development directors. This first annual event, presented by First Business Bank, in partnership with Insight Publications and the Volunteer Center of East Central Wisconsin, had over 300 attendees from across East Central Wisconsin who spent the day connecting with other nonprofit partners throughout the region.
