Our Executive Director, Brad DeCamp, and Board Member Nick Malo participated in Walk a Mile in Her Shoes Marion on Friday, October 9, at Founders Park in Marion.

Sponsored by Marion’s Victim Assistance Program and Turning Point, this event raised awareness of domestic violence and sexual assault while bringing our community together to stand with survivors.

Join us for a Community Conversation on Mental Health, Addiction and Developmental Disabilities in the Marion Region on October 20 from 6–8 PM at Marion First Church of the Nazarene.

This gathering will bring together people who serve, support and care for adults and families impacted by mental health, addiction and developmental disabilities. We’ll share what we’ve learned about current local services and community support, including key findings from healthcare providers, community agencies and city officials.

Today, community partners came together for the second Marion Behavioral Health Collaborative Mental Health Summit to continue conversations around mental health, collaboration, and building a stronger system of support for our community.

The morning included workgroup sessions, shared ideas, discussion, and opportunities to learn from one another. Bringing organizations and community leaders together helps us identify needs, strengthen partnerships, and work toward meaningful solutions for the people we serve.

We’re grateful to be part of these important conversations and look forward to continuing the work together. 💙
