Great tour of a family and veteran owned shop, Hannibal Machine, in Marion County. The Haycraft family are doers, producing impressive parts for major companies and components used in local infrastructure projects.

It’s great to see more manufacturing success stories in North Missouri. I appreciate the Haycraft family’s support in my race for Congress. I do think we could add a few Royals items to their Cardinals shrine!

Had a great time speaking with the Brookfield Rotary Club. They’re a great group that steps up and serves the community week after week.

If you don’t think the Brookfield–Marceline Bell Game rivalry is a big deal, just take a look at the booth in the Mexican restaurant. It’s been voted the top high school rivalry in the country.

As your next Congressman, I’ll connect with the doers in every community and support the local institutions that make North Missouri great.

Thank you to our volunteers who helped us deploy 4x8 signs all throughout the district this past Saturday!

We have an awesome group of volunteers that is growing by the day. These individuals are deeply committed to our campaign and are willing to do whatever it takes to win on August 4th!

Stay on the lookout for more signs, they are popping up all over the district!

Had a great time touring Grand River Welding Institute in Brookfield. Eric Adams and his team are changing lives through their school, unlocking potential for so many North Missourians who are looking to do more and earn more.

They run a vocational rehabilitation program that helps individuals enter the workforce and become productive, successful workers. I was especially impressed by the $100K Wall, which recognizes many of his students who earn six-figure incomes in their first year after completing the program.

In Congress, I will continue to support workforce development and job training institutes that have a proven record of changing lives, like Grand River Welding Institute.

Got the chance to stop by and visit with one of my friends and Co-Chairs of our Ag Steering Committee, Renee Fordyce, at her farm in Harrison County. Renee is a doer and is deeply committed to her community.

The Fordyce family has been farming in North Missouri for generations. They have stepped up to serve in various ag leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels.

Renee is also deeply concerned about rural healthcare access and serves in healthcare leadership roles in North Missouri. I will not only seek Renee’s advice on agriculture but also on rural healthcare, because certain healthcare specialties shouldn’t only be available hours away.

Great meeting with Andrew County leaders, including Presiding Commissioner Brad Jarvis, Commissioners Gary Baumann and Fritz Hegeman, and Sheriff Grant Gillett.

We discussed the county’s needs, what they want to see in their next Congressman, and my proven track record of working with a variety of stakeholders to get things done. North Missouri’s next Congressman must have the relationships in place to effectively serve all 33 counties.

Who do you think is going to win the round - Liberty PD or Kearney Fire?

Great spending time with some of the golfers participating in support of the Clay County Sheriff’s Office HALO Team.

I’m proud of the work and leadership that Sheriff Will Akin & his team has demonstrated in Clay County.

The HALO is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides assistance to Sheriff’s Office employees facing financial hardship. Through its efforts, the organization has helped employees with utility bills, rent and mortgage payments, medical and therapy expenses, groceries, school lunch balances, vehicle repairs, and other essential needs.

Overseen by a volunteer board made up of Sheriff’s Office employees, the HALO Team continues to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those who serve their community.
