🍏MJHS New Student Orientation is Wednesday, August 5th.
💙Scan the QR code for a map and full presentation.
💛Sessions will be held in the West Gym at 6 pm and 7 pm.
💙Students are encouraged to bring their disinfectant wipes, facial tissues, paper towels, and Ziploc bags to their teachers during orientation.
💛Students are not allowed to place items in their locker or place their lock onto their locker on orientation night. There will be time during the school day for locker setup on Friday.

Make sure your student is in the correct Band Google classroom for their section. Google Classroom will be the main source of information for band. If you have questions, please email Ms. Francis at [email protected] 🎶
Marion Junior High Bands

🔹Classroom Supplies:
Tissues, disinfectant wipes, hand sanitizer donations are always welcomed.
🔹Instruments:
Do not bring your instrument on the first day of school. You may start bringing instruments on Monday. Before school starts, you may ask a morning supervisor to drop off your instrument in the band room. You may leave your instrument nearly against the wall of the band room hallways. Then go back to the gym.
🔹School Instruments:
Symphonic Band, bass clarinetists, bari saxists, euphonium players, tuba players, percussionists: You will receive instrument loan agreement forms for your school instruments on the first day of school. On Monday, we will start the I instrument distribution process in class.
🔹Band Supplies:
Pencils, black binders for Symphonic Band, and instrument specific supplies (reeds, oils, swabs, etc.).
🔹Uniform Supplies:
• 6th Grade Band: White formal top (with sleeves), long black pants or ankle-length black skirt, black formal shoes.
• Concert Band: Black formal top (with sleeves), long black pants or ankle-length black skirt, black formal shoes.
• Symphonic Band: I will provide uniforms. You will need black formal shoes.
