All candidates in Kentucky are required to provide either a post office box or email address when they file for office. This will be shared in mandated online postings with the Secretary of State and County Clerks rather than a residential address.

Local candidate filings will be posted here as they occur beginning tomorrow when the filing period opens. If nothing is posted for the day, there have been no filings.

Local media will also be notified and filings will be posted weekly at CrittendenCountyClerk.ky.gov and on the Secretary of State’s website.

If you plan to run for office in Crittenden County next year, you may come by our office to pick up a packet of filing forms and information before the filing period starts Wednesday. There will also be a free workshop at the county office complex at 6 pm Thursday for those interested in learning more. You may also call 270-965-3403 with any questions.

Check for unclaimed property that belongs to you and is held by state at https://kyclaims.unclaimedproperty.com/en/Property/SearchIndex. This is generally refunds, dividends or other cash that was never claimed by you or a business you own.

You search by name and can narrow by city. If you have lived in multiple Kentucky cities, be sure to check them all, as well as variations and even misspellings of your name.

The claim process is rather simple.
