🎬 BIG NEWS FOR MARION CSA 🎬

A student-produced short film from Marion Community School of the Arts has officially been selected for the 2026 Indiana Youth Film Festival in Indianapolis. 👏🏾

“Black and White and Red All Over” is a classic noir-style mystery following a young journalist investigating a string of local murders. The film will screen June 26 at Kan-Kan Cinema and Brasserie as part of the statewide festival celebrating Indiana’s next generation of filmmakers.

What makes this even more impressive is that these students handled nearly every aspect of production themselves — acting, directing, cinematography, editing, costume design, special effects, lighting, and more. The project featured students ages 13 to 18 working together to bring the story to life.

The film previously premiered at CSA’s iShow in Marion and also won Best Film in the high school division at Taylor University’s Envision Film Festival. 🔥

Congratulations to all of the talented students and instructors involved. Marion continues proving that creative talent is alive and thriving right here at home. 🎥✨

🌎 Team Marion USA – International Children’s Games Delegation 🌎

This summer, these incredible young athletes will represent Team Marion USA at the International Children’s Games in Hualien, Taiwan.

Only 17 cities from all of North America will participate in this year’s Games. Marion, Indiana will proudly be the ONLY delegation from the United States represented in Boys Soccer, Girls Soccer, and Boys Basketball.

For these athletes, this is far more than a tournament. It is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to compete internationally, experience new cultures, build friendships with athletes from around the world, and represent their families, schools, clubs, community, state, and country.

From local gyms and soccer fields in Grant County to the international stage in Taiwan, these athletes are preparing to represent the City of Marion, Grant County, and the United States with pride.
Help support Team Marion USA as we work to complete the final stretch of fundraising and make this unforgettable experience possible for these young athletes. Donate here: https://givetogrant.org/icg/
