With the hot temperatures, the City of Marion has opened a cooling shelter at the Shannon Wilkerson Gym.

SCDOT says work remains on schedule for the replacement of the US 76 bridge over Catfish Creek!

Here’s a look at the progress being made. We know everyone is ready to see this project completed, and it’s exciting to see it getting closer! 👏

🎉 Congratulations to Kar'leya Bellamy and Dewayne Tennie Jr.! 🎉

The City of Marion is proud to congratulate Kar'leya Bellamy and Dewayne Tennie Jr., who were recognized last night as the Marion County Youth Day Organization's Youth of the Year!

These outstanding young leaders exemplify integrity, intelligence, and respect through their actions and commitment to our community. Their achievements are a reflection of their hard work, character, and bright futures ahead.

Each student was awarded a $500 scholarship, generously presented by the Marion County Youth Day Organization and the City of Marion.

Please join us in celebrating Kar'leya and Dewayne on this well-deserved honor! We are proud of you both and look forward to all you will accomplish.
