It is with the utmost gratitude that we say thank you to all who helped make our 2026 event such a success. Whatever your role (participant, vendor, security, photographer, donor, visitor - we could never name them all), we could not have done it without you.

Our work has already begun planning for the 2027 event by our small, but mighty, volunteer base. Know that our needs continue to grow: Our needs for young history lovers to become reenactors, for talented volunteers to help us with projects throughout the year, for local donors to step forward and help support our non-profit organization.

It’s time to stop lazing around and make your way to Mississinewa 1812! Today is the final day, and we are open until 4pm. Shuttles will continue to run from Marion and Mississinewa High Schools until 5pm.

Taking the shuttle? Here’s everything you need to know!

SHUTTLING INFORMATION

Share share share! If you’re planning to attend this year - PLEASE READ!

The first thing you need to know: Shuttles are 100% the way to go.
🚌They are FREE.
🚌They have a different route to help bypass the majority of traffic.
🚌They will drop you off directly at the main event entrance.
🚌They will be available all 3 days this year, but be sure to read the details below.

Friday: MISSISSINEWA HIGH SCHOOL SHUTTLES ONLY
Will run from 8am - 2pm last pickup**
**Anyone who needs picked up after 2pm will be transported via event people movers

Saturday: MISSISSINEWA & MARION HIGH SCHOOLS
Will run from 8am - 6pm

Sunday: MISSISSINEWA & MARION HIGH SCHOOLS
Will run from 8am - 5pm

We encourage everyone to consider using the shuttles. If you cannot use the shuttles, please carpool with friends. As a reminder, handicap parking is limited and only available on a first-come first-served basis.

Mississinewa 1812 canned water is endorsed by the Grant County Sheriff's Office! 100% of the proceeds go to the Mississinewa Battlefield Society. Stop by the merchandise tent or the water tent during battles to get yours!
