The Marion Community Foundation is pleased to announce the recipients of our 2026 Community Impact Grant program!
This spring, the Foundation awarded $5,811 to six local projects serving residents and communities across Marion County:
• Centre REC Program — $500
• Marion County Special Education — $1,000
• Core Community Marion County — $1,000
• Tampa Pride — $1,000
• Marion Department of Aging — $1,000
• Marion City Library — $1,311
These grants will support youth recreation, special education, poverty-reduction efforts, community events, senior services, and opportunities for local families.
“These grants are a good example of what the Marion Community Foundation is here to do—put charitable resources back to work in ways that benefit people throughout our community. The projects funded this year are very different from one another, but each addresses a real local need or creates an opportunity that strengthens Marion County.”
We are grateful to the organizations, volunteers, and community leaders who continue to develop projects that make Marion County a better place to live.
