What an amazing and innovative community partnership! Marion City Schools and Center Street Community Health Center are bringing quality healthcare directly to students, and integrating a valuable resource for staff and families that will help eliminate access to healthcare services as a barrier to student success.

Big news for our Prexies! 🩺

A new school-based health center will open at Grant Middle School this fall through a partnership between Marion City Schools and Center Street Community Health Center!

By bringing healthcare services directly into our school, this partnership will help remove barriers to care and provide another important layer of support for our students and families.

The vision began with a conversation. On May 25, 2025, Superintendent Brian Murphy joined representatives from Center Street Community Health Center on a trip to Toledo to visit school-based health centers. That visit helped turn the question of “What could this look like in Marion?” into a real possibility.

Now, that vision is becoming a reality.

Thank you to the leadership and team at Center Street Community Health Center for their collaboration, dedication and commitment to our students and families. Their work has helped turn an idea into a valuable new resource for our school community.

We look forward to welcoming the new health center this fall. This is what looks like!
