Good afternoon,

We invite all staff and students to join us tomorrow, April 5th between the hours of 2-4pm to celebrate the departure of Jaime Pitt, one of our beloved Reference Librarians who has been an integral part of the Jackson Library and Media Services.

Please stop by to congratulate and give Jaime your best wishes for her new position as the Director of Marion Public Library!

Today marks the beginning of Black History Month! We have set up a new book display featuring influential Black Figures throughout history, please come check it out!

As a reminder, the downstairs level of the library is still featuring our Coretta Scott King display as well, we hope you enjoy!

We have Exciting news!

Starting this upcoming Wednesday, 1/24/24, The Library will remain open during the Chapel Hour, 10-11:00am.
We will remain closed during Chapel on Mondays and Fridays.

We encourage Small Groups to gather in this space and explore God's Word together!

Every year right before Thanksgiving break, our staff come together and decorate the library!! Have you been able to come in and see our Christmas cheer recently? Swing up amidst the stress and find some joy in this season!!

Meet our employee of the month for the month of September: Gabe Ramsey!

Gabe started working at the library last semester as a desk worker and we have been blessed by him coming back as a returner! He says he loves working with his coworkers here and we appreciate him so much! Please join us in celebrating and thanking Gabe for his hard work in stepping up as an example to our other staff.
