🌊 Welcome our new Aquatics Director, Darcy Gillen! 💙

We’re excited to have Darcy join the Newton YMCA team! With 8 years of experience in aquatics as both a lifeguard and aquatics manager, she brings a passion for water safety, leadership, and creating positive experiences for everyone who walks through our doors. 🏊‍♂️

Darcy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Coaching and Master’s degree in Sports Management and Business from Tabor College. She is excited to continue growing in the aquatics field and is looking forward to using her experience and leadership to strengthen our aquatics programs and serve our community.

We started Swim Team today and are prepping for summer by finishing up our staff training and maintenance this week. June 1 begins our summer hours- already posted here on this page.

This week our hours are as follows:
May 26. 6:00-9:00am
5:30-7:30pm
May 27 6:00-10:00am
May 28 6:00-9:00am
5:30-7:30pm
May 29. 6:00-10:00am
12:00-3:00
May 30 2:00-5:00pm
May 31. 2:00-5:00pm
