The History Center is back with another educational history walk through Uptown Marion, covering both past and present history!

This tour will begin at the library's 6th Avenue entrance on Monday, June 29 at 6 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring a water bottle, protective clothing and/or sunglasses, and wear comfortable shoes.

Did you know: the library opens one hour late on the third Friday of the month? 💡

During this time, staff gather as a team for training and professional development sessions so we can provide the best possible service to our patrons.

With that being said, the library will open at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 19. The bookmobile will start its morning routes at the Marion Pool at 10:45 a.m. We'll see you then!

It's almost time for Absolute Science's Fantastic Foam Show on Wednesday, June 17!

This program will teach attendees about scientific concepts such as refraction, static charges, and especially foam! To ensure everyone's safety, library staff will manage room capacity and monitor attendance.
