"The countdown to summer is officially ON at West Marion Elementary School ☀️🐾

Our Kindergarten and First Grade students are “popping” into summer one balloon at a time! Each day brings a surprise fun-filled activity like Camping Day 🏕️ and Beach Day 🏖️ as we make meaningful memories together during these final days of school. The laughter, excitement, and smiles have made this end-of-year countdown extra special!

Meanwhile, the West Marion Muddy Potters Gardening Club 🌱 has had its busiest and muddiest year yet! Our amazing 3rd, 4th, and 5th grade gardeners worked hard planting seeds for our annual Mother’s Day Plant Sale, which was a huge success thanks to our supportive community. From refreshing our garden space to keeping it thriving and beautiful, these students have truly grown something special this year.

Through weekly after-school meetings filled with planting, crafting, creativity, and plenty of muddy fun, our students have learned the joy of hard work, teamwork, and getting their hands dirty in the best way possible! 💚

And to top it all off, our production of 101 Dalmatians was absolutely fantastic! 🎭🐶 Our students shined on stage, showcasing their talent, confidence, and hard work in an unforgettable performance that brought so much joy to our school community.

We are soaking up every moment and celebrating all the memories made during an incredible school year!"

🌟 Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for making this a successful year.

"It’s been an incredible and activity-filled year at Glenwood Elementary School! As we wind down, we’re reflecting on all the meaningful learning, growth, and fun that took place both inside our classrooms and throughout our school. From engaging lessons and hands-on activities to special events and school-wide celebrations, our students have been busy learning, exploring, and making memories every single day.

Our amazing 3rd–5th graders successfully wrapped up their testing, showing all the hard work they’ve put in this year, and we celebrated our final Dragon Bridge of the year together. We also had the joy of celebrating our Part Day Pre-K students as they graduated—a special milestone and a wonderful reminder of how much our youngest learners have grown!

We were proud to dedicate this year’s yearbook to our fabulous Mrs. Ray, and to celebrate some outstanding accomplishments among our staff. Mrs. Kathryn was named Beginning Teacher of the Year for the county, and Mrs. Renee graduated from Western with her Bachelor’s degree—just to name a few of the many successes we’ve seen this year!

It’s truly been a year full of learning, laughter, and Dragon pride. We are so proud of our students and staff, and we can’t wait to see what the next school year holds! "

🌟 Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for making this a successful year.

East McDowell Middle School is celebrating the end of the school year! "What an amazing year East McDowell has had!! Student Council stepped up and showed out in so many ways! They hosted dances, helped with a 5K Turkey Trot, showed rising 6th graders what it will be like to be a Trojan. Variety Show was once again a smashing success! We were honored to see Coach Walker be named Innovator of the Year! We combined with the other middle schools and had the best 8th grade formal ever! Our precious Life Skills kiddos did a phenomenal job at Special Olympics and made us all Trojan proud. We surprised our rock star counselor Mr. Williams with a yearbook dedication and we had ten outstanding 8th graders. The great Ms. Shelton was crowned teacher of the year! Now we are wrapping up testing and preparing for a great summer before we do it all over again in the 26-27 school year!!"

🌟 Thank you to our students, staff, families, and community for making this a successful year.
