Today, members conducted training on dry hydrant operations. Not only does this keep members skills up to date, but it makes sure our on site dry hydrant is still functioning.

The Lake Egypt Fire District would like to congratulate one of our part-time members, Firefighter/EMT Chad Beaumont on his retirement from his full-time job at the Metropolis Fire Department. Don’t worry, we’ll still be seeing Beau around as he still plans on working part-time for us. Now he just has more time to devote to his side business, Beau Holler Outdoors.

OSFM’s Robert Beal stopped by the Metropolis Fire Department last week to honor and congratulate Chad Beaumont on 25 years of dedicated service.

Thank you, Chad, for all you have done for the department and the Metropolis community. Congratulations on a well-deserved retirement, and best wishes in this next chapter! 👏🚒
