From Nov-Jan, Marion County collected an incredible 500–550 pounds of holiday string lights! 🎉♻️

That’s more than a quarter of a ton kept out of the landfill and redirected into Ohio’s special recycling economy — supporting local businesses and creating more jobs than disposal ever would. 💚

Huge thanks to our volunteer committee members who helped distribute boxes and gather the lights — Carol Kelly and Barbie White!

We’re also so grateful to everyone who kept an eye on their collection boxes and shared the information with their audiences. Spreading the word truly makes the impact shine even brighter! ✨♻️
