My campaign is built on five key priorities:
1. Support for Public Safety and County Services
I am committed to fully supporting our law enforcement officers, emergency management teams, local fire departments, and every county employee who works hard to serve our community. Public safety and dependable county services are the foundation of a strong McDowell County.
2. Infrastructure Expansion
Growth requires preparation. I support expanding water, sewer, broadband, and other critical infrastructure to ensure we are ready for new opportunities while improving quality of life for our current residents.
3. Parks, Recreation, and Community Programs
Investing in parks and recreation means investing in our families. I will advocate for expanded programs and facilities that serve all ages — from youth athletics to senior activities — helping make McDowell County an even better place to live.
4. Economic Growth and Job Creation
We must support our existing businesses while actively recruiting new industries and employers. By strengthening our local economy, we create jobs, broaden our tax base, and secure a brighter future for our children.
5. Collaboration for a Shared Vision
Real progress happens when we work together. I will actively collaborate with the City of Marion, the Town of Old Fort, McDowell County Schools, McDowell Technical Community College, MEDA, MBA, the Chamber of Commerce, and other local partners to pursue a unified vision of growth and prosperity for McDowell County.
