People ask me why a guy who spent 20 years in the Navy would jump into a Congressional race.

The answer is simple: service didn't end when I took off the uniform.

I rose to Command Master Chief, leading a command across seven bases and five branches. After that I built a small business helping police, firefighters, and nonprofits become stronger leaders. Everything I've done has come back to the same idea - leadership means putting the mission and the people you serve ahead of yourself.

South Carolina's 7th District deserves that kind of leadership. That's why I'm running.

The South Carolina State Election Commission has completed its evaluation of existing South Carolina election law to determine voter eligibility for the August 11 Special Republican Primary. Based on that evaluation, voters who participated in the June Democratic Primary are not eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary. Voters who either participated in the June Republican Primary or did not vote in either party’s June primary are eligible to vote in the August 11 Special Republican Primary.
