We participate in events sponsored by the Republican Party and have invaluable opportunities to meet and hear from significant political leaders! Getting snazzy IWUCR gear to wear proudly and keep beyond your time here! IWU College Republicans is a campus-wide, conservative political organization striving to promote political awareness and virtuous statesmanship, organize fun, informative political events for students and faculty, and engage in observation and discussion of politics and the political process. IWUCR advocates the general principles of the Republican Party such as smaller government that preserves the sanctity of individual liberty, a defined Federalist system of government, fiscally conservative taxation and government spending, and a strong national defense in order to preserve peace and protect national interests. We, IWU College Republicans, hope to provide opportunities for students and faculty to engage their own political identity, the identity of those immediately around them, and the greater identity of the inherently political world they interact with each and every day.
