Great news!

Good news! All of our powerful advocacy, from calling, writing, and advocating for survivors to get the services they need and deserve, was successful!

This funding sustains Californians' access to mental health support after sexual assault, shelter after fleeing domestic violence, legal support after escaping human trafficking, and advocacy after child abuse, and other life-saving services.

However, $50 million only keeps victim services afloat for one year. We are celebrating this win while continuing our federal advocacy and planning for next year until a long-term solution is found.
