The Mariposa Fire Safe Council is proud to partner with Mariposa Safe Families and UC Cooperative Extension to bring you a fun and interactive Fire & Emergency Preparedness Event from 12:00 PM - 4:30 PM.

Bring the whole family out for a day filled with first responders, community resources, equipment displays, kid-friendly activities, wildfire education, and hands-on demonstrations designed to help our community become more prepared and resilient.

We sure do appreciate all the local support we have received through our first annual Ember Stomp Dinner.

A huge thank you to Sierra Cider for truly stepping up, pushing this event forward, and supporting us in such a meaningful way. We love y’all’s quirky personality, big community heart, and the way you continue to show up for Mariposa. Y’all have been a true blessing to our community.

And while we are talking about fire, we also want to say this: not all fire is bad. Prescribed fire is good. Fire preparedness is GOOD. Learning how to live with fire, prepare for fire, and support the people doing this work is part of building a safer, stronger Mariposa.
