Tunica-Biloxi Housing Department The Housing Development Authority remains committed to its mission of providing affordable and sustainable housing solutions for all tribal members.

The primary goal of the Tunica Biloxi Housing Department is to establish trust, relationships, and accountability with Tribal members to provide adequate housing needs. We encourage Tribal members and housing staff to create a unified team-family environment, and create a culture where proactive thinking and creativity are realized as essential functions for the growth of the Tribe and housing dep

artment. Despite challenges, our efforts continue to make a positive impact on our communities across our nation where our member reside (Louisiana/Illinois/ Texas).

The Tunica-Biloxi Housing Department kindly asks all applicants on the housing waiting list to let us know if your situation has changed since you submitted your application.
Updating your information helps us ensure we have the most current details when reviewing applications and contacting applicants as housing opportunities become available.
Please notify our office if you have experienced any changes such as:
•Change of address, phone number, or email
•Changes to your household (birth, marriage, divorce, custody, or someone moving in or out)
•Employment, income, or financial changes
•A flood, fire, hurricane, or other natural disaster affecting your home
•Changes in your current housing situation
•Any other significant life event that may affect your housing needs or eligibility

If you're unsure whether a change should be reported, please feel free to contact our office. We are happy to answer your questions and help update your application if needed.

Did you know that the Tunica-Biloxi Rural Health Clinic is providing care to our entire Marksville community? The Health Clinic offers a host of services including primary care, preventative visits, chronic disease management, lab work, immunizations, referrals and more!

In addition to these services, the clinic will now have a visiting endocrinologist specializing in diabetes management, thyroid disorders and more.

Public Safety Notice TB Reservation – Black Bear Sighting

The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe has received a report of a black bear sighting on the Reservation. While black bears are generally shy and avoid people, they are wild, predatory animals and should be treated with respect and caution.

Tribal Citizens are encouraged to:
•Remain alert, especially during the early morning and evening hours.
•Do not approach, feed, or attempt to follow the bear.
•Keep children and pets under close supervision when outdoors.
•Secure garbage, pet food, and other potential food sources.
•If you see the bear, contact the Tunica-Biloxi Tribal Police

Department immediately at 318-253-4940, maintain a safe distance, and allow it to move away on its own.
The Tribe is monitoring the situation and will provide updates as additional information becomes available. Thank you for your cooperation in helping keep our community safe.
